Louis VUITTON Unisex Bathrobe

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

I would like to call the Louis VUITTON design house a super large shopping mall for it offers almost everything you could think out. I really didn’t know that even the bathrobe could be defined as fashion product. Anyway, let’s first have a look at this luxurious bathrobe, which priced as high as $705.00.

090613-spring-august-louis-vuitton-unisex-bathrobe1

It is a plush, full-length unisex bathrobe in the color of sand and white. Composed of soft, lightweight 100% cotton, this bathrobe is said to be comfort and style to any bedroom, to this I reserve my right of doubt. Nowadays, advertising is omnipresent. This robe reveals an embroidered large LV logo on the pocket along with a touch of contrasting color along the collar and cuffs. 42” Long with a self tie belt will cover your body closely.
- Sizing Guidelines:
–> M0 = XL Women/Medium Men
–> L0 = XXL Women/Large Men

Even though this robe is comfort and high quality as it advertised. I still doubt its hefty price. Even if you two wear the same bathrobe, as it is said to be unisex, it is still pricy. What is your opinion? Find a Louis Vuitton Product on sale at

Louis Vuitton Personalization

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

1What is better than a Louis Vuitton monogram bag? A Louis Vuitton bag with your own monogram on it. That is the thinking behind the house’s Mon Monogram service. The company has been allowing customers to personalize luggage and smaller items like wallets for a while, but you can now put your initials on its signature Speedy 30 or Keepall Bandoulière 55 bags. And because the canvas is given a special coating after your logo has been painted on, there is no danger of ever losing your good name.

On Louis Vuitton website, you can know the whole progress in detail. In product personalization column, please select any product from the menu. Take Pegase 45 for example. Click the bottom of PERSONALIZATION: Add you initials. Then this complimentary service is for you. Choose up to 3 letters and color. Use dot symbol between letters or vertical display mode as you like. This elegant accent of a hot-stamped personal monogram adds a singular sophistication to your leather pieces. Louis VUITTON Saint-Tropez Square

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

Fashion and culture are closely connected with each other, as you can see from thisLouis VUITTON Saint-Tropez Square scarf, whose Riviera spirit pays illustrative homage to the small and most famous Mediterranean port in the world.

Saint-Tropez Square, Louis VUITTON Scarves, Designer Scarves, M72275

Saint-Tropez Port was the main commercial port of France before 1914 and was wildly used during the 18th century. The town was the site of various associated trades like fishing, cork and wood. Now its role as a commercial port was declined, and it is now primarily a tourist spot. And each October, a regatta is held in the bay of Saint-Tropez. This is a draw of many yachts, some up to 50 meters in length, exactly what shows on the square scarf.

This scarf is sized at 35.4″ x 35.4″ and made from 100% silk. And on the scarf is discreetly hand-written Louis VUITTON signature on the bottom right. This scarf is available in four glorious colors of violet, red, blue and green. It is priced at $230.00. Find a Louis Vuitton Product on sale

Hermès Kelly Cut Clutch

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

renee_zellweger_hermes_evening.jpg

Love, love, love Hermès evening bags–almost, dare I say, more than their day bags. I find them to be terribly chic and luxe, but at the same time utilitarian and virtuous to the brand. Hermès evening bags are great–if you can afford their prices–because they almost always echo a silhouette of one of their more classic counterparts. Take Hermès addict Renée Zellweger’s Kelly Cut clutch, for example: as the name implies, it’s like someone took a Kelly bag and cut 75% of it off. Voila! I love how the workings of the Kelly bag are kept intact–the turn closure, the dual leather straps–while the top handle has been shrunken down and made collapsible for storage. Renée looks fabulous with her clutch; it’s complements her silhouette nicely and I love that her Louboutins are of a similar shade of brown. I can’t say enough good things about Hermès clutches. They’re seriously like a Lay’s potato chip: ONE IS NEVER ENOUGH!

Approximately $4,200, available at Hermès boutiques

Louis Vuitton Denim Bag: Snob or Slob?

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

lvdenimpatchbag.jpgI have no words for Louis Vuitton’s python-interior embroidered denim bag with multi-beaded handle (and are those feathers I see dangling nonchalantly?!?!?).  I guess one could use it inside out and pretend it’s really a python bag lined in denim. I mean it would make more sense but then you’d lose out on the kaleidoscope of logos in rainbow colors and we all know LV fans love their logos!   This actually makes me sad; after touring Louis Vuitton’s home and atelier I’d developed a newfound respect for the brand, but this– this makes no sense whatsoever (though it could have been made purely for editorial purposes, or for Beyonce).  What do you think?  SNOB or SLOB?

Louis Vuitton Sequin: Snob or Slob?

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

Don’t crucify me for featuring Louis Vuitton monogram bags, I’m just the messenger– this showed up in my inbox and had to share! Wow, did they really bedazzle each logo with sequins?  Imagine the labor… I’m tired just thinking about it.  The Speedy Gold above is $2,160 (hefty!) and love the new handles. The Alma Eclipse ($2,470) in black sequins is quite eye catching.  You have to admit they are getting really creative with the iconic monogram. MJ said he was inspired by Parisian muses of great creators.

“… The Victorie de Castellane, the Loulou de la Falaise, the Betty Catroux… all these people that I remember that were just about the joy of getting dressed. The joy of being a woman, the joy of being a girl, the rebellion of saying “I don’t care what’s going on, “I’m just going to have a good time. Maybe it’s a little Marie Antoinette too.”

Marc Jacobs played with fabric on the bags just as he did with the RTW (which I’m obsessed with by the way, LV ready to wear is friggin’ hot!). What do you think of the Speedy Gold Sequin? Snob or Slob? (Update: just added the Alma Eclipse, what do ya think?)

The Fall/Winter Trunk show is heading to Neiman Marcus North Park this weekend– jump for details!

Jessica Simpson’s Louis Vuitton Obsession

Jessica Simpson in Louis Vuitton Speedy Cube

Madonna may have made a splash in her ads for Louis Vuitton, but there’s still no celebrity I associate more with the brand than Jessica Simpson. Perhaps it’s because she memorably whined about wanting an LV bag for her dog on her reality show and then ended-up getting a slew of LV pieces for her birthday, but I feel like every other picture I see of Simpson she is in another generic LV piece. I know for a fact that Simpson is one of those celebrities that has a huge impact on what people buy because when I interned at Gucci in college, the classic black horsebit bag was unofficially re-named the “Jessica Bag,” since it immediately flew off the shelves after the starlette was photographed in it (literally they could not keep the bag in stock at any of the Gucci boutiques). So for better or worse, we may be partially able to blame Simpson for the seemingly never-ending popularity of monogrammed LVs.

Alexa Chung in Louis Vuitton Sofia Coppola: Snob or Slob?

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

chung in lv.jpglouis-vuitton-suede-asphalt-bag.jpgI hope that just because her show was recently canceled British import Alexa Chung won’t be disappearing from the U.S. party scene. She is always — love ‘em or hate ‘em — in the most eye-catching outfits and she clearly has a love for fashion and a distinctive point of view. Above she’s carrying the Louis Vuitton Sofia Coppola SC Suede Keepall ($3,730) which is a bag I love, but do think is too big to be worn out-and-about at a party. Though I was sort of taken aback by Sofia Coppola getting her own line of LV bags I like pretty much everything she’s designed for the house (at least when it comes to handbags, the shoes are horribly unattractive), even if they’re not terribly original. The bag Chung is carrying would work great for anyone who is fashion-conscious and travels a lot for business, but the price is too steep (I would’ve guessed just under $2,000 vs the actual price which is over $4,000 after taxes), and I personally wouldn’t pay a premium for an LV bag just because it was designed by Coppola.

Jessica Simpson Monogram Leopard Stephen Boston: Snob or Slob?

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

jessica-simpson-leopard-print-louis-vuitton-05.jpg

Does Jessica Simpson look like she is camera ready for a cameo on the Real Housewives of New Jersey or what!? She’s pictured above in — what else — Louis Vuitton, the Monogram Leopard Stephen Boston Bag to be exact. The bag was created to honor the late Stephen Sprouse who collaborated with Marc Jacobs on the graffiti bags back in 2001. Perhaps as a collector’s item I could see this as being an investment piece, but it’s just so unbelievably tacky I think I would laugh out loud at myself if I wore it out in public. I get that they were probably trying to channel Sprouse’s uptown-meets-downtown aesthetic by crossing the monogram and the pleats with the leopard, and the chain, but the result just looks like a practical joke…Slob!
