Fendi monogrammed rose floral bag

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

fendi-rose-bag.jpgIn honour of today’s spring-like weather, here’s a Fendi bag that’s a bit different from the usual brown and earthy tones: its bright and breezy patterning looks abstract at first glance, but a second reveals a rose print underlay.

Fendi seem to be getting a bit more adventurous with their styles at the moment and it’s good to see them bring out something that’s seasonal and fun whilst still retaining that distinctive, sophisticated style.

Fendi baguette gets a floral makeover

floral-fendi-baguette.jpgWhen fashion heavyweights like Fendi are getting flowered up, you know it’s time to take notice of the blossoming style. Just as Chanel has done, Fendi has opted to use a raffia-like weave in its summer 2010 accessory range, creating a more laid-back, summery feel. It really has to be seen close up to be appreciated!

This utterly ladylike handbag with its delicate floral applieque would be just the thing for summer weddings and garden parties for the well-heeled. There’s also a black, beaded version of the Baguette for S/S 2010 which almost says hippie…

Floral Border top handle bag at Fendi

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

pretty-fendi-bag.jpgThis prim and pretty Fendi handbag with its neat floral edging really is the ultimate accessory for lovers of deluxe vintage replica.

The basic style is very traditional, but Fendi have shaken things up a bit and given the look a contemporary makeover. It all sits together so beautifully: the visible stitching, the smooth texture of the leather against the raw canvas, and best of all, the swapping of the usual formula of floral fabric with plain border – a look that’s already started to wilt this summer!

Milla Jovovich in Fendi (with a fabulous fan)

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

milla-jovovich.jpgHere’s a girl who knows how to accessorise! Catwalk Queen spied Milla Jovovich keeping her cool in the front row at the Schumacher by Dorothee Schumacher show at Berlin Fashion Week. Dressed in a hunter green silk dress, she wore oversized gold earrings and carried a white Fendi Baguette with matching gold hardware.

What’s really getting our pulses racing, however, is her fabulous Vogue hand fan. That’s got to be the most stylish way to survive in the current heatwave sweeping the UK, and we want them in our handbags now!

Fendi Peekaboo large python top-handle

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

fendi-peekaboo.jpgFendi seem to be having a bit of a fashion ‘moment’, with plenty of stars seen out and about with their bags and accessories in tow. Earlier in the week it was Milla Jovovich flashing the Fendi, and Katherine Heigl and Catherine Zeta Jones are also known to be fans.

One of the hottest styles currently doing the rounds is the Peekaboo, shown here in powder blue python. The beauty of this bag is the contrast between the interior and external fabrics, which really shows off its luxury credentials. One to save for if you’re after a real classic.
